Rules and regulations
Upon registering for activities with “KIDOMA,” members sign the internal regulations of “KIDOMA.” This document specifies and complements the statutes. These regulations may be amended during a meeting of the Board of Directors.
Article 1: Commitment of Workshop Facilitators
Identification: The facilitator must identify themselves to their audience to avoid any misrepresentation regarding their level of competence or nature of their services.
Confidentiality: The speech expressed during the practice is confidential. Workshop facilitators are bound to respect the confidentiality of the participants. In the context of the workshops conducted, they inform the participants that they themselves are subject to confidentiality regarding their peers.
Ethics: The facilitator refrains from any judgment towards their colleagues and workshop participants.
The facilitator must conduct their activity respecting the fundamental rights of the human person. They undertake to be respectful of privacy, dignity, and freedom of the individual and do not practice any racial, ethnic, social, political, or religious discrimination.
The facilitator must respect the physical, mental, and emotional state of their audience. The activities offered by “KIDOMA” are not of a therapeutic or medical nature. The association aims to promote the autonomy of the individual; therefore, it does not foster any dependency on the participants. The facilitator takes all measures to respect the right to privacy.
Training: Each facilitator has acquired skills in their field of practice. They should not conduct workshops for which they are not competent.
Conviviality: In any activity that brings together several people, the group is a driving force. The involvement of each individual is important. The association strives to strengthen the conviviality of relationships in practice.
Article 2: Commitment of Workshop Participants
Values: Each participant in the workshops undertakes to respect the values defended by the association: responsibility, tolerance, respect for individual freedom, and human dignity, both towards participants and facilitators. The participant is subject to the duty of discretion towards others.
Medical Precaution: The association asks each participant to consult with their doctor before participating in a physical practice such as Tai Chi Chuan, walking, or any other physical activity…
Freedom: The participant may stop the activity, either temporarily or permanently. However, the cost of the activity will not be refunded after the first 3 weeks of practice, but if desired, they can switch to another activity offered by KIDOMA.
Secularism: The “KIDOMA” association is secular, open to all while respecting political, philosophical, and religious opinions. During activity times, no proselytism will be accepted, whether religious or sectarian.
Article 3: Modes of Use of Different Equipment
The equipment and materials of “KIDOMA” are available to members of the association when they act for the association. However, lending or using the equipment by a person outside of “KIDOMA” is possible. In case of damage, the responsible person undertakes to compensate the association for the damage caused to the equipment (repair, replacement). Some equipment loans may be subject to a deposit.
Article 4: Associative Partnership
“KIDOMA” may undertake projects with other associations, which must be in line with the statutes, with or without possible agreement.
Article 5: Acceptance of the Internal Regulations
Each facilitator and participant are required to know the internal regulations of the “KIDOMA” association.
